We hope to provide a smooth and easy process for our clients throughout the roofing experience. Below is a list of commonly asked questions. If you need more assistance, we are always available to answer any questions or talk through any concerns you may have.

We are here to help with what protects you the most.
Answers you need. Trust built on transparency.
Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely, yes. TriShield Roofing & Construction is fully licensed and insured, which is the non-negotiable foundation of our operations. We maintain comprehensive General Liability Insurance (protecting your property) and Workers' Compensation Insurance (protecting our crew, which protects you from liability). We are happy to provide our Certificates of Insurance (COI) and licensing/registration details with every project estimate.
Do you do roof cleaning and maintenance?
Due to the high humidity in Houston, roofs will often build up blue/green algae over time and create streaks on your roof. We offer full roof cleaning for Tile, Asphalt, Slate, and Metal roofs, along with maintenance plans.
What types of roofing materials do you specialize in?
We specialize in systems proven for durability in the Houston climate for both residential and commercial properties:
-
Residential (Steep-Slope): Our expertise is in architectural asphalt shingles (e.g., GAF, CertainTeed), metal roofing (standing seam and R-panel), and specialty materials like tile and slate.
-
Commercial (Low-Slope): We are highly proficient in TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin), Modified Bitumen, and commercial elastomeric coating systems for roof restoration and energy efficiency.
Do you offer a warranty on your work?
Yes, we offer two levels of protection:
-
Material Warranty: This is provided by the manufacturer (e.g., GAF, CertainTeed). As a certified contractor, we can offer their enhanced, non-prorated warranties that cover materials for up to 50 years (e.g., the GAF Golden Pledge).
-
Workmanship Warranty: This is our own guarantee on the quality of our labor and installation. We typically offer a 10-year workmanship warranty that covers any installation-related defects.
How long will the roofing project take?
The timeline depends on the size and complexity of the roof:
-
Standard Residential Roof Replacement: Typically takes 1 to 3 days.
-
Complex Residential or Specialty Materials: May take 4 to 7 days.
-
Commercial Roof Replacement (TPO/Modified Bitumen): Varies widely but can range from 4 to 10 days depending on the square footage and deck preparation required.
We provide a detailed timeline and project schedule with every proposal.
